so, now what?
- screens? check.
- new inks? check.
- more brushes? check.
- font needed to design totes awes shirt? check.
- a design for totes awes shirt? er...um...hmm.
- good ideas go here - i recently bought a new moleskine* notebook. and yes, i've been told that it technically doesn't count as a moleskine if it's hot pink, but a regs black moleskin just seemed soo unsuited for capturing all the sunshine and lollipops. for those of you who don't have one, the moleskine comes with a little pamphlet enclosed, explaining how this 'legendary notebook' has been used by 'great artists and thinkers' like picasso, van gogh and hemingway. talk about pressure. i know a lot of people who only like to write 'good ideas' in their moleskines. i'm not sure how that works. do you have a real notebook that captures all of your craptacular ideas and then you just transfer over the good ones? kinda feels like cheating, non? regardless, i tried to motivate myself the same way and dedicated a page in my book to this sentiment: 'good ideas go here'...but then thought better of it. because i'll take any idea, really.
- a penny for your thoughts - because sometimes its just better to bounce ideas off someone when you're stuck, as long as they're not wearing their black hat (ahem! ;) ). maybe they'll take your idea to the next level - epicness! so here's a penny for your thoughts. and here's to hoping you think in awes t-shirt designs.
- a blank canvas - sure, it's literal. but it's all i've got right now.
*ps, if you do happen to head over to the moleskine site, make sure you check out the msk section where you can design and print for your moleskine (awes!) and also the gallery section where other users have uploaded their artwork. *pps while we're talking moleskines, very cool flickr set from sxsw, here.

now i need to find your email address again.
this is akin to public ridicule you know. its a call to action for me.
there should be less jails and more circles of people just taking turns mocking one another for their wrong doings.
