shellac attack.

a couple of weeks ago, i went to ritual in toronto to get a shellac manicure. the promise? up to two weeks of chip-free colour. two weeks? come on! i usually barely make it out the door after a manicure without messing it up somehow! but, wait, there's more! shellac dries nearly instantly...so you don't even have to worry about ruining it on your way out of the salon. honestly, too good to be true i thought. but...i lasted 16 days before i went and had it removed (this may be the only drawback. you can't take it off yourself...and the process of having it removed isn't all that wonderful, but not enough to deter me from having it done again! just be warned, your fingertips will be very, very cold). and on the 16th day, i was still chip-free! my only problem was the the colour was starting to grow out! seriously, well worth the $35 if you ask me. try it. you'll love it. i promise.
