look.book.

i swear i've picked this book up at least ten times, flipped through it...amused, and then put it back on the shelf. not today. today, i bought it. and i heart it. 'bands on the road: the tour sketchbook'. is totes awes. a ton of bands (89 to be exact) including bloc party, death cab for cutie, phoenix and keane, have submitted artwork for the book. their submissions range from doodles to full on paintings of anything from the view from their tour, to things they miss, to childhood memories. also included is a little 'story about the drawing' and a bio of the band member who submitted it. i know what you're thinking, i can't possibly have room for more books or mags under my coffee table...but how could i pass this up? :)
