comfort food.

while i consider myself lucky to have moved up the street before the thompson hotel officially opened (goodbye, drunken street fighters letting out of the bars at 3AM), there is one thing that could have kept me in the area. the counter, is a great 24 hr food stop which just happens to be close enough for all of us in "advertising alley" to pop by. check it out on your next lunch break - foot long hot dogs, double baked mac and cheese...and you even get free pretzels to munch on while your food is being prepared. win-win! if you're headed there, be sure to bring your appetite though - my mac and cheese was good enough for me for two sittings! (not that i'm complaining)
