there are no words.
i can't even begin to tell you how much i loved the vampire weekend show last night. loved it oh, so much! i was there with some of my most awes friends, at the very front of the stage, seeing one of my most favourite bands, who...ROCKED it. seriously. in all the waiting and mega excitement for the show, there was the slight possibility that i had built it up in my head too much. fat chance! it was a-maze. i know, i'm gushing. but it was so gush-worthy. beyond gush-worthy. my only complaint was that it went by way too fast, but i guess that's what happens when you heart every song. and i did. from start of show to finish, and even with the new songs thrown in there. ps, the new stuff sounds great. so fun, and so very vampire weekend. 'cousins' is deffo one of my new fav tracks. and what would a show be without some souvenirs? ;)
i'll try to get some more pics posted soon. in the meantime, here are some vids from last night.
