it was a gorgeous fall weekend here in the city (the rain today, not so much). saturday, casey and i ventured out in hopes of criminal records having received their latest shipment of gig posters. at first glance, it looked like we were in trouble. the display wall was empty. lucky enough, the shipment had arrived, they just hadn't been displayed yet! even luckier, the guys opened them all from their protective plastic to show them to me. first cracksies? amaze. all in all, i walked away with 3 posters from criminal this weekend...and another one i tracked down online. if you've been reading this blog a while, you'll remember we went to see the flight of the conchords when they were in town in april. the merch table did have some lovely silkscreened posters, but would not sell them. huh?? apparently the artist had made a little error. well, flight of the conchords management asked that the typo be corrected and that no other posters be printed. that's right. i got an original (albeit corrected) poster. score. 

  

okay, okay. so they don't look as lovely here. you're not seeing the crazy bright colours on the death cab poster, or the really pretty metallic of the cat power poster. for those of you keeping score...there is a missing kings of leon poster. i'll add that when i find an image.
