la-la-love.

see what i did there? it's a combination of love and music (as in la la la)...i know, totes clever. anyway, it's been a few days since i've posted (thanks to everyone who's pointed out my severe slackerness), but i just got an amazingly uplifting email. i got into the edge 102 show on friday - bookie's big blast! ruby coast and the arkells? oh hell yes, my friends! sure it's all-ages and i may poke one, or both of my eyes out because of it, but it'll deffo be worth it. and if you haven't heard of ruby coast or the arkells...then you haven't been reading this blog! check them out already! hometown boys. support local, right? ;)

(as an aside, doesn't the guy in the top, two from the left totes look like he could be in true blood? something very vamp about him. maybe the bags under his eyes? i cant quite put my finger on it)

i'm making it super easy. a vid from each band is below. enjoy (and yes, they've both been posted here before...but they're indie...they don't have many vids!) and...to the birthday girl...i'll see YOU friday! :) xo
